Is your New Year’s resolution to get organized? Disorganization of time is usually accompanied by disorganization of space, paper flow and processes. Pay attention to habits that sabotage your efforts to get and stay organized.
Do you know what “being organized” means to you?
My definition of being organized is being able to find what I want when I want it. What’s your definition?
To get you started thinking about the process, here are a few questions:
- What is the most daunting organizational challenge you are facing right now?
- What is motivating you to make changes?
- With these changes, what do you want to be able to do that you cannot do now?
- What keeps you from getting or staying organized?
- What will happen if you choose to not devote time and energy into the organizing project?
Disorganization can be reversed if you pay attention to the small details of your immediate environment.
